Short films (movies & cartoons)- best genres in the world

I think you all will agree that movies play a huge role in our life. Short films widen the mind, give new knowledge and emotions, help in having a good time, make to forget about your problems and depression.

We really like the variety of plots and genres, different places, and companies for watching. But, I believe, that almost everyone watched and enjoyed the most incredible and difficult genre – short films (movies and cartoons).

It’s a genre of films, which are quite short in the amount of time, but very pithy, dynamic, capture the attention from their first seconds and show the meaning of the plot well.

First Movie in the world-The Great Train Robbery (1903)

Short movies and cartoons will never leave you indifferent or bored – their producers are very talented, as they have less time and opportunities to tell the catchy story well and attract the audience with strong impressions, do without extra details and leave only the heart of the plot. The stories are short, sweet and straight to the point – each of them is a real art and a challenge for the producers.

Short films are much easier to watch on the web or on a mobile phone, they are usually independent, budgeted and produced by a director with a small cast. You can watch short films when you have 5-15 spare minutes, in a bus or even during work, while surfing the net at night, on lunch breaks, in queues and so on.

The genres between short and usual films are very similar, but in the short ones you know fewer details, so the end will be left quite opened for you, and we all like the unexpected and using our imagination, that’s why it attracts much.

We usually don’t know the actors or the producer, we even can’t be sure when and where the action takes place, but we really enjoy the plot, learn to notice other people, their words, and actions.

Watching short films is more interesting with family or friends, to share your opinion and feelings with them. If you would like to spend an evening enjoying short movies or cartoons, consider the rating of other people. The best short stories are on the top. Look through some popular and beloved short films of different genres, years and countries, I’m sure that you will find some really nice ones for you.
